WEEKLY WRAP UP

There is only one word to describe this week... SCORCHING! I think it's been pretty hot everywhere across the US, but here in Buffalo - where people like to make fun of us for all of the snow we get - the mercury's been pushing the 90-95 degree range, and the heat index has been over 100. That's not cool. I've luckily stayed cool in my glorious air conditioning, and have been getting some good reading done!

This week was also the first meeting of the YA Book Club that Sara at Forever17Books set up, and Jessica from Jessabella Reads joined us too! It was lots of fun, and we discussed all topics from blogging, to ARCs, and oh yeah, the book we read! We are going to be reading Will Grayson, Will Grayson for August! 

I had an emotional week though, with the passing of Talia Catellano, or TaliaJoy18 if you follow her on YouTube. She was a 13-year-old who has been fighting 2 kinds of aggressive, terminal cancer for six years. She unfortunately lost her battle on Tuesday, and it was just so sad but amazing to see how many fans and celebrities have been affected by her passing. Just keep swimming, just keep swimming.

We also lost Cory Monteith this week.. My heart is heavy with the loss of these two talented angels. I haven't watched Glee in awhile, but I did have a definite Glee-a-thon when it became available on Netflix, and absolutely adored the show! I would say I'm a Gleek! 

I also started an Instagram account for my blog! Follow me, my user name is Thelittlepinkbookboutique.

I also am getting together some giveaways, so those will be starting soon!
