What Now? {3}

Hey! Welcome to my new Tuesday post - What Now? This new once-a-week post is based off of Epic Reads - Like, Try, Why.

If you liked... The Harry Potter Series by JK Rowling
...Then Try... Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan
...Why ... Yes, I realize that they are really not the same as Harry Potter is dealing with magic, and Percy Jackson is based on Greek mythology, but here's why I think you'd like Percy Jackson if you liked Harry Potter ... both deal with unassuming boys turning out to be very important in the "other world" that they belong to. With their best friends as their sidekicks, and tons of adventure and danger, Percy Jackson will appeal to any Harry Potter fan, and then some!

Happy Reading!

If You Liked... Divergent (Divergent #1) by Veronica Roth [Goodreads]
Try... Legend (Legend #1) by Marie Lu [Goodreads]
     Why - A fast paced, action packed military themed dystopian finds the main character, June, facing similar trials as Tris. Both are new to relationships, and navigate them carefully. With tons of betrayal and a fierce loyalty to making life better, even if it's at their own risk, June and Tris are two heroines that anyone can fall in love with.

If You Liked... Unearthly (Unearthly #1) by Cynthia Hand [Goodreads]
Try... Angel Burn (Angel #1) by L.A. Weatherly [Goodreads]
   Why... Taking a break from the vampire-overloaded YA market, these two angel-centered books were both huge breaths of fresh air. While both similarly themed and dealing with good vs bad/light vs dark/heaven vs hell, each offers up something unique enough to keep you thoroughly engaged and wanting more!
